Parisian Balcony captures one of the city's most intimate gestures — a balcony overflowing with flowers, suspended between sky and street. Behind every wrought-iron railing in Paris lies a story: someone who chose beauty, who tended to petals above the noise of the city, who made a private garden out of a few square feet of stone.
Painted by PA (Arnaud Picaud), one of the five artists of our family collective, this piece is a true original created in our Paris studio on Île Saint-Louis. PA's watercolor work is defined by loose, confident brushstrokes that let the paint breathe and move freely across the paper. Nothing is overworked. Every stroke is intentional, yet spontaneous.
What makes this piece luminous is the way watercolor handles light. The petals seem to glow from within. The Haussmann stone breathes. The eye lingers on every blooming detail without ever feeling overwhelmed — a tender, joyful work that carries the soul of Paris in its most quietly beautiful form.
